Having spent most of my life in Hawaiʻi, I have earned my degrees from UH Mānoa. Over the years, I’ve taught at UH Mānoa, community colleges, and various high schools, and I now serve as a psychology instructor. My research focuses on human perception and attention using computers and VR. I’m passionate about mentoring students, calisthenics, acrobatics, and serving my two cats, and I’m excited to support Psi Chi’s commitment to academic excellence in psychology.

Hi! My name is Kalem, and I am the President of Psi Chi. I am a junior working towards my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education. I was born and raised here in Hawai'i on the island of Maui. I enjoy spending time with friends, working out, and watching shows and movies.

Lana Edwards
Hey there, I’m Lana, originally from Germany and I moved here 4.5 years ago. Currently I’m a Junior in Psychology and I’m contemplating a double major in Communicology. There are many things I enjoy, however at the top of that list stand eating, anime and hiking. (Netflix and sleeping are also close contenders) I very much look forward to working with all of you. :)

Hey! I’m Angelica, and I’m the Director of Funding for Psi Chi for the remainder of this academic year. I’m a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Political Science, and I’ll be graduating this semester. I'll also be a tutor at The Writing Center, so feel free to reach out if you need help with a paper! I was born in Wisconsin and moved to Oʻahu in May 2020. I love reading, traveling, and hanging out with my friends!

Aloha! My name is Ayra and I am the Secretary for Psi Chi this semester. I’m currently a senior double majoring in Psychology and Philippine Language & Culture–Ilokano, with a minor in Pre-Health. I was born in Japan, but raised in the Philippines for a couple of years and moved to Oʻahu about 12 years ago. I love trying new food, reading, working out and hiking!

Hi everyone! I’m Jiin, and I’m the Treasurer for Psi Chi for this semester. I am currently a junior(senior) majoring in B.S. Psychology. I am from South Korea, and it’s been three years since I moved to Hawaii in December of 2021. I love reading, traveling, and hanging out with my friends.
