Upcoming Opportunities for Students Psi Chi aims to provide students at the University of Hawaiʻi with opportunities to advance their educational knowledge, service activities, and network connections.
Scholarships and Grant Opportunities
UHM Academic Merit Scholarships
These scholarships are designed to recognize the academic strengths of admitted students. There is no separate application for students to be considered for these scholarships.
UHM Upper Level Scholarships
These are selective scholarship awards for students who are in their upper-level undergraduate years. To be considered for these scholarships, students must submit supplemental materials in addition to their admission application.
Mānoa Opportunity Grant
Award amount: Up to $4,000 and is dependent upon tuition charged and enrollment status. Funding is limited, preference is given to students who meet the FAFSA priority deadline of February 1st and are a State of Hawai’i resident. The grant will be prorated based upon your enrollment in UH Mānoa courses applicable toward your degree when not full-time. (Please see Registration page for definition of full -time) Courses taken at other UH campuses do not count towards enrollment for this grant.
Pacific Islander Opportunity Grant
Award amount: Up to $4,000 based on your enrollment status. Funding is limited, preference will be given to those who meet the FAFSA priority deadline of February 1st. Courses taken at other UH campuses do not count towards enrollment for this grant.
STAR Scholarships
STAR helps students find scholarships they are best eligible for and facilitate the application process online. Mānoa academic departments select the candidates that receive the scholarships.
